BWCA Sleeping Gear

Everything piece of sleeping gear that we carry is lightweight, compact and durable perfectly curated for the Boundary Waters Canoe Aera Wilderness camping. Think about the time of year and weather when choosing your sleeping gear. If you are planning on visiting in Spring or Fall choose a sleeping bag or quilt with a lower temp rating of at least 20 degrees and a sleeping pad with an R rating of at least 3. Nights can dip below freezing in those months. In the summer time you can get away 40 degree bags or quilts and pretty much any sleeping pad will do. We recommend going for a thicker pad if you don't mind the extra weight.
